Osteoedema is a condition where fluid builds up in the bone marrow, causing the affected area to become swollen. This condition is usually caused by a bone trauma, such as osteoarthritis, but can also develop because of chronic conditions, such as osteoporosis. Osteoedema is usually diagnosed through an MRI scan or ultrasound. Osteoarthritis, also known as "wear and tear" arthritis, is a common cause of bone marrow edema. Oren Zarif
